BeadBits Boutique ("we", "the app") is built by an independent developer. This policy explains what data the iPad app collects, why, and how it is used. We collect the minimum needed to run the app and never sell personal data.
1. Information we collect
- Anonymous account identifier. When you open the app, Firebase Authentication assigns an anonymous, randomly generated user ID. This ID is not linked to your name, email, phone number, or Apple ID.
- In-app purchase records. When you buy a bead palette or top-up, Apple's StoreKit issues a receipt. We record the product identifier, transaction ID, and purchase timestamp in our backend so your purchase persists across sessions and devices signed into the same anonymous account.
- Crash and diagnostic data. If the app crashes, Firebase Crashlytics records a stack trace and device model so we can fix bugs. No screen content, input, or personal data is captured.
2. Information we do not collect
- Name, email address, phone number, or any other contact information.
- Location data (GPS, IP geolocation, or otherwise).
- Photos, contacts, microphone, or camera input.
- Advertising identifiers. We do not run ads.
- Browsing history or analytics outside the app itself.
3. Third-party services
The app uses the following services strictly to operate:
- Apple App Store / StoreKit — processes purchases and subscriptions. Governed by Apple's Privacy Policy.
- Google Firebase (Authentication, Firestore, Crashlytics) — stores anonymous account state, purchase records, and crash reports. Governed by Google's Privacy Policy.
The app does not contain, display, or access third-party content beyond these operational services.
4. How long we keep data
Anonymous account data and purchase records are retained for as long as the anonymous account exists. Crash reports are retained for 90 days. If you delete the app and never sign in again, the data becomes inert — there is no profile to look up because there is no personal identifier attached.
5. Children
BeadBits Boutique is suitable for ages 4 and up. We do not knowingly collect personally identifiable information from anyone, including children. Because all accounts are anonymous and we collect no contact information, the app does not allow children — or anyone — to disclose personal information.
6. Your choices
- You can delete the app at any time. Local data is removed with it.
- To request deletion of server-side records tied to your anonymous account, email the address below with the anonymous account ID shown in the app's Settings screen.
7. Changes to this policy
If this policy changes materially, the effective date above will be updated and the new policy will be published at this URL before taking effect.
